If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly place to visit in Dallas, Texas, the Hilton Anatole may be just the perfect destination for your next family vacation!
We booked two nights at the Hilton Anatole last summer for our family of four and had the best time.
We had heard great things about the new JadeWaters resort pool complex and were so excited to check it out.
It did not disappoint! In fact, it exceeded our expectations!
Hilton Anatole JadeWaters Resort Pool Complex
Here are just some of the things that the pool area has to offer:
- Leisure pool with swim-up bar
- Beach-entry family pool
- Lazy river
- Luxury cabanas
- Splash zone with two 180-foot slides
- JadeWaters Grill & Bar
- Free lockers
- Swim shop
- Poolside waitstaff
- Towels
- Free life vest rental for little ones
We went to the pool in the morning when it was less crowded.
We checked out the gift shops and strolled through the Atrium in the afternoon.
In the evening, it was nice to relax on the beautiful green lawn and play lawn games.
We all had a blast, including our daughters who were 11 months old and 2 years old at the time.
There are some really great activities for the kids that we didn’t have a chance to check out as well. For example, there’s the adorable Geppetto’s Marionette Theater that is located inside the hotel and has shows on Fridays and Saturdays. There are games in the park, family movies on Friday and Saturday nights, pool parties on Saturday afternoon, and other fun, kid-friendly activities depending on the day.
How We Stayed for (Almost) Free at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas
One of the best things we did a few years ago was get a Hilton American Express credit card. We charge about half of our monthly expenses to the card, pay it off every month, and earn Hilton points in doing so. Ever since we’ve had the Hilton credit card, I don’t think we’ve paid for a hotel room! Plus, there are some pretty great perks that come along with being a Hilton cardholder. For example, we were able to access the Executive Lounge during our stay and enjoy free breakfast, free evening hors d’oeuvres, and complimentary bottled water and cold drinks throughout the day. At the Hilton Anatole, I say that we stayed for almost free because while we didn’t pay for our room, we did pay a daily resort fee.
There is a daily charge of $25 per night. The charge covers the following:
- Self-parking for one vehicle
- WiFi
- Kids 12 and under eat dinner free (one kids menu meal per adult entree)
- Access to Verandah Club and Fitness Center, classes, courts and saunas
- 15% discount on spa services at V Spa
- Two Starbucks drip coffees per day
- JadeWaters resort pool complex admittance during the summer season
So, if you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly summer vacation spot, check out the Hilton Anatole. We can’t wait to go back!
